Kevin has spent the entirety of his professional career assisting business owners access capital. He is a seasoned Small Business Administration (SBA) executive with decades of experience in the industry.
Since 2010 he has started and built four community bank SBA departments, implementing policies and procedures; hiring staff; managing production as a player/coach; driving revenue through loan sales; and overseeing servicing and liquidation. He has been a member of NAGGL (National Association of Government Guaranteed Lenders) including membership on the Small Lender East Committee.
His banking career started in 1995 in the Management Associate Program at AmSouth Bank (now Regions) and included formal commercial credit training. Upon completing that program, he worked in the middle market commercial lending department as an Assistant Relationship Manager. In 1997 he began specializing in SBA lending and has been active in retail and wholesale lending for SBA 7(a) and 504 loans.
Kevin earned a Bachelor of Science in accounting from Jacksonville (AL) State University and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in corporate strategy and marketing from The University of Alabama. Kevin has been involved in civic and charitable organizations including Heart Walk Tampa Bay, Rough Riders, and Feeding Tampa Bay.
